Our story
Born in the lab
PhaseLab Instrument was co-founded in August 2018 by a team of French and Taiwanese researchers from the University of Technology of Troyes (UTT) and National Taiwan University. The founding team combined deep expertise in nano-optics, plasmonics, and bio-engineering to bring phase-sensitive SPR out of specialist facilities and into everyday research labs.
The core technology — a proprietary phase modulation technique — is the result of years of academic research, protected by three patents. It is the foundation of every Ipso-LAB instrument we build.
Our mission has always been straightforward: make precision SPR accessible to every research lab.
